Ability to add an address look-up component in the application forms
We are delighted to announce the Address Look-Up Component for both application forms i.e., legacy and customisable application forms, designed to streamline the application process by enabling candidates to quickly auto complete their address information. This feature reduces manual entry, improving accuracy and providing a smoother user experience.
The address look-up component is made up of multiple basic application components that are required for defining an address on an application form, for example:
- Address line 1/Street address (textbox)
- Suburb – Changes based on the geographic location.
- State - Changes based on the geographic location.
- Post code - Changes based on the geographic location.
- Country
Please speak to your account manager or our support team to enable this feature or for more details and queries.
Key Highlights:
- Auto-Complete Functionality: The address look-up component automatically suggests and fills in address details as candidates begin typing, saving time and minimising errors.
- Enhanced User Experience: Simplifies the application process by reducing the amount of information candidates need to enter manually.
- Improved Data Accuracy: Standardises address entries and reduces typos or incomplete information.
- Region specific components – The users will be able to add the address components based on their geographic location. Springboard offers address components for four regions:
-
- Australia/New Zealand
- Canada
- United Kingdom
- United States of America
-
How to Use:
- In the application form builder, select the address look-up component based on your region from the basic application components. Please note: Only one address look-up component can be chosen per form.
-
Add other fields to the form.
-
Publish the form.
-
Candidate will be able to search their address typing in the street address field.
5. Select the appropriate address from the drop-down.
6. All relevant fields will be populated automatically.
7. If for any reason, the candidate is not able to find their address, then they can select against the “Enter address manually” checkbox.
8. The address component fields can then be used in the backend Springboard instance as columns, reports, bulk-print et all in a similar way as the existing basic application form components related to addresses.
Ability to include Quick Apply forms into Campaign Pages
We are excited to introduce the new feature Quick Apply forms on Campaigns. It makes it easier for recruiters to build a customised Register Your Interest form on a campaign using the quick apply form.
A quick apply form is an application form that can be accessed and built from the Administration à Forms and Front-end area.
The feature will be available after the release for all our clients using the campaign manager module. Please speak to your account manager or our support team for more details or queries.
Benefits:
- The feature allows the users to build a customised Register Your Interest form and manage it more efficiently and easily.
- Users can build more than one customisable form based on the campaign requirements and use it accordingly.
- It enables candidates to submit applications with minimal steps.
- It streamlines the candidate application process and boosts conversion rates.
How it works:
Pre-requisite:
- The site should have campaign manager feature enabled.
- The site should have customisable application forms enabled.
- The user should have access to Administration à Forms and Front-end Admin area.
- The site should have a job and associated job ad associated with the campaign. Select the quick apply form from the “Create Ad” screen.
- The user should only create a blind job ad, implying that they should not post the job ad to any channels.
The customisable quick apply forms can be added to Campaigns by following the step-by-step guide detailed as follows:
- Create a customisable application form from Administration -->Forms and Front-end Admin with the fields needed as per the campaign requirements.
- Ensure that the checkbox is checked for the form -->Form Settings --> Apply Settings -->Permit candidate to apply without login.

- Career site – Select the career site from the drop-down list where you want to post the campaign
- Quick Apply form – The form will be selected based on the selections made on the above fields.
- Candidate Source – Similar to EOI, this will be stored against the candidate source when they submit the quick apply application form on a campaign.
- Confirmation email template - A confirmation email will be sent when a candidate submits their interest in a campaign.
- Post to Talent folder - When the candidate submits the app form, they will be posted to the talent folder as selected on this control.
8. Save the details and publish the campaign.
9.The candidates will be able to access the campaign and the form.
10. They will enter their details on the form and submit it.
11. The candidates can now be accessed on the job and/or talent folders on your Springboard instance.
Ability to include a Job search banner on a campaign
With this release, we have introduced another enhancement to our campaigns area i.e., a new portlet option - "Job search banner" - has been added to the Campaigns library. This portlet enables the integration of a job search widget, accompanied by a background image. It offers configurable options to display a basic or advanced job search banner. By incorporating this new banner, you can enhance your campaigns with a robust job search functionality, improving user engagement and experience.
The feature will be available after the release for all our clients using the campaign manager module. Please speak to your account manager or our support team for more details or queries.
Benefits:
- This new functionality allows you to elevate your campaign pages by adding a visually compelling background image to the job search banner, helping to capture attention and strengthen your brand’s presence.
- The campaign creators can add a custom background image to the job search banner, providing a more immersive brand experience and driving candidate interest.
How it works:

d. Career site – Select the career site to which the campaign will be posted to.
e. Search display mode – Select the search display mode from
-
-
-
- Basic
- Advanced – Choosing this option while building the campaign lets the candidates search the jobs based on two fields i.e. job title or keywords and location. If the proximity search is enabled for the site, then this field can leverage it and show results based on the proximity and radius selected. For more details on proximity search, please refer to “Career Sites – Improved location searching for job advertisements” feature released with Springboard Rel 7.35.

- Cookie preferences can be managed in the candidate’s browser settings, as outlined in the privacy policy.
Multi-factor authentication support for Feedback requests and Hiring Manager Access
With the last Springboard release, Rel 7.36, we introduced “Multi-factor authentication for Springboard recruiters and administrator users”. Now with this release, we are taking a step forward in this direction and introducing multi-factor authentication support for feedback requests and hiring manager access.
This will add an extra layer of security to protect candidate data, ensuring that only authorised personnel can view and access the applications or provide feedback on candidate evaluations.
The feature will be enabled for all clients using existing MFA within two weeks of Release 7.37. Please get in touch with your account manager or our support team for any queries or concerns on the same.
Key Features:
-
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Enablement:
- All backend users will be required to set up and use MFA.
- MFA options include time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) via authenticator apps and email codes.
- Flexible Authentication Methods:
- Users can choose their preferred authentication method during the setup process.
- Support for popular authenticator apps such as Google Authenticator, and Microsoft Authenticator.
-
Enhanced Security:
- Added protection against phishing, credential theft, and unauthorised access.
- Compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for multi-factor authentication.
-
User-Friendly Setup Process:
- The set-up process is user-friendly.
- Detailed instructions and support documentation is available for a smooth transition.
How this works:
Currently, the feedback users (HMF users) and hiring manager access (HMA) users access the Springboard via a login link received over email. They click on the link and can access the Springboard instance for HMA users and Feedback requests portal for HMF users.
By adding MFA to this process, the flow changes as mentioned below:
- The HMA/HMF receives a link over email to access Springboard instance/ Feedback request portal.
- The user clicks on the link.
3. The system authenticates that the user is associated with the link.
4. If they are already linked to authenticator, the screen to enter the authenticator code or choose the email code is displayed.
5. If they are not yet linked to the authenticator, the Setup MFA screen is displayed with two options:
-
- Using Authenticator App
- Using Email.
6. Upon successful MFA, they are logged into the appropriate portal.
For more details and guidance on how to set MFA, please refer to this article.
