Introducing our new external search provider – QJumpers
We’re excited to announce the integration of QJumpers as our new external search provider. This enhancement brings improved candidate sourcing capabilities, allowing you to access a broader talent pool with greater efficiency. QJumpers uses AI and machine learning to bring the top-talent matching the search filters. We’re confident this upgrade will make your recruitment process even more efficient.
Key Highlights:
- Expanded Talent Reach – Leverage QJumpers’ powerful search capabilities to find top candidates faster.
- Seamless Integration – Enjoy a smooth, intuitive experience within Springboard. The candidates can be linked directly as “New Leads” or posted to a talent folder within Springboard instance.
- Enhanced Matching – More precise candidate recommendations based on your job requirements filters.
Getting Started
Please reach out to your account manager to get access to this module. There is additional cost to access the external search module.
How to Use:
For Admin users - Once Qjumpers is enabled on your Springboard instance, please request PeopleScout support team to turn on the user-role for access.
Admins can then provide access to other users by following the steps below:
1. Click on the Administration --> Admin Console --> External Search Admin --> QJumpers.
2. Select the user by clicking on the check-box against them.
3. Click on “User-access” and select “Grant User Access” from the menu.
4. The admin users can also revoke the access of other users
For other users – Once you have been granted access to QJumpers, follow the steps as mentioned below to start using QJumpers with Springboard:
1. On your Springboard, go to left-hand navigation menu, click on “Candidates” --> External Search --> QJumpers.
2. You will now be able to see the QJumpers interface.
3. Under the filters section, add the relevant filters and click on the “Search” button.
4. You can also use “Advanced Search” feature for a more granular search.
5. You can view the candidate’s profile by clicking on them.
6. When you view the candidate's contact info, an icon is displayed against the candidate. As viewing contact info uses 1 credit, this icon is helpful to signify that the candidate has already been viewed.
7. The candidates can be selected by clicking on the checkbox.
8. You can then either click on the “Link to job” OR “Post to Talent folder” button.
9. Link to job – Select the job reference number and position title from the “Link to Job” dropdown. The candidate will be imported to Springboard and can be seen under “New Leads” à QJumpers folder.
10. Select the job reference number from the above drop-down menu and click on “Send” button.
11. Success message is displayed.
12. The Link to Job action from QJumpers DOESN’T create an actual application rather it just places the candidate into a potential candidate list i.e. New Leads folder. No communication is sent to the candidate.
13. Post to Talent Folder - Select the Talent folder name from the “Post to Talent Folder” dropdown. The candidate will be imported to Springboard and can be seen under the first step of the Talent Folder.
14. When the candidates are imported to Springboard, following icons are displayed on the QJumpers to signify that the candidate profile have been downloaded, and credit has been used.
15. A new candidate record is created within Springboard for each import.
16. All the candidates imported via QJumpers can also be seen via “Candidate Imports” tab available from Candidates --> External Search --> QJumpers --> Candidate Import.
17. The candidate information from QJumpers can be viewed against candidate profile and experience tab.
Profile Tab: All the information along with the contact details, social links etc. are stored on the candidate profile fields.
Experience Tab: Candidate’s professional summary including their work history, companies, skills, qualifications, certifications etc. are stored under the Experience tab. Select “QJumpers” from the drop-down below to see the professional information coming from QJumpers.
18. The candidate source is set as “QJumpers” on Springboard.
[NOTE]: By default, the active jobs from last 180 days are displayed under “Link to Job” drop-down. But this can be set to another value by speaking to PeopleScout Support Team.
Similarly, for talent folders, active Talent Folders created within last 180 days are displayed under “Post to Talent Folder” drop-down. But this can be set to another value by speaking to PeopleScout Support Team.
New Leads folder:
With this release, we have introduced a new folder that will be used to manage the potential candidates which are available via
- AI Talent Match - Internal Search (Previously known as Recommended by Springboard)
- QJumpers - External Search
AI Talent Match – Springboard has capability to search for the candidates that are available within the system and match the job requirements. AI Talent match technology also provides the candidates’ suitability score and talent insights. This is done via our Third-Party tool, Sovren.
This functionality has been already available within Springboard as Recommended by Springboard.
If the recruiters are not happy with the list provided by AI, then they can click on the “Search more Internal Candidates” and the list will be refreshed with more candidates.
QJumpers: The candidates imported from QJumpers interface can be viewed and actioned upon from the candidate’s grid under QJumpers folder.
The recruiter can then act by either sending an "Invite to Apply" to the candidate, linking them to the job (after consulting with them), or selecting additional options from the action menu by right-clicking on the candidate.
If the recruiters are not happy with the available list of candidates, then they can click on the “Search more External Candidates” and they will be redirected to the QJumpers interface to search for more candidates that match the job criteria.

New “Lite mode” for Talent Folders
Some of our clients maintain very large talent folders i.e. the talent folders with thousands of candidates. Viewing such large talent folders was slow and used to fail sometimes.
We recognised that the large talent folders impact performance, and this presented an opportunity to optimise execution times, and this improve the loading speeds.
This feature will be available to all clients with this release.
To achieve this, we are introducing the lite-mode for talent folder which is designed to enhance the performance by reducing the amount of data retrieved and processed.
When the “lite-mode” is enabled, the data is displayed only on some of the significantly important columns. This helps the user to view what is important.
Here’s the list of the columns that are displayed with data when lite-mode is switched on:
Age | Current Job Title | Ethnic origin | Marital Status | Postcode | Salutation |
Application P/F | Date Candidate Created | First Name | Middle Name | Pref Employment Type | Search Suburb |
