Springboard now offers Open API support
We’re excited to announce a major expansion of Springboard’s Open API capabilities, enabling deeper integrations, improved data exchange, and greater automation for our clients and partners. The latest release introduces a comprehensive set of GET, POST, and webhook endpoints that support end-to-end recruitment workflows.
Key highlights:
1. Clients can now retrieve data from Springboard on demand (GET endpoints): These new read endpoints allow external systems to pull key recruitment data in real time:
- Applicant Details - This API endpoint will return a json object containing a single application, which is a candidate's application to a specific job, based on the num provided in the API call.
- Candidate Details - Retrieve the details of a candidate in the system. A candidate is a person who could have submitted multiple job applications and belong to multiple talent folders.
- Job Details - Retrieve the details of a job requisition by providing a valid requisition id (jobId)
- Jobs List (with status-based filtering) - Retrieve all job requisitions posted for your client. Various filters are available to restrict which jobs are returned.
This improves reporting, synchronisation with HRIS platforms, and downstream analytics.
2. Clients can now send data into Springboard (POST endpoints): External systems can now push structured data directly into Springboard, enabling true bidirectional integration using the POST endpoints:
- Create Job – Create jobs within Springboard. Contact App Support for more details on this API.
- Create Application - This will submit an application for a candidate to a nominated job. The application form configuration on your Springboard instance will define which fields you should use to complete an application form.
- Set Application Status - Move an applicant to a new status within the workflow or hiring funnel.
These endpoints enable automated job creation, application ingestion, and status updates from connected platforms.
3. Clients can now receive events from Springboard (Webhook endpoints): Springboard can now notify external systems of key lifecycle events in real time through webhook callbacks, reducing polling and improving data freshness:
- Application Created / Updated
- Application Status Change
These event-driven updates support seamless synchronisation across integrated systems.
More detailed information about the APIs and endpoints can be found at this link.
Additional APIs are planned for the 2026 roadmap to provide greater system based interactivity with Springboard and Affinix. Access to the API suite may incur setup and ongoing hosting fees. Please discuss with your Account Manager.
Prebuilt reports supported by PowerBI
As an enhancement to the reporting module, Springboard now offers ready-made reports powered by Microsoft Power BI, delivering faster insights and improved data visualisation for Springboard users.
The reports are available via permission and user-role which can be managed by the admin user.
For SaaS clients, please get in touch with our Application Support team to know more or enable these reports and for RPO clients, please contact your Peoplescout Account Manager.
The library of preconfigured Power BI reports is designed to give clients immediate visibility into their recruitment performance. These reports are automatically connected to Springboard data and require no setup or custom modelling.
Note for ANZ customers: These reports are a like for like set of reports you have access to under standard and enhanced report. The only difference is the foundation technology is Power BI instead of SQL Server reports.[MS1]
Available report packs include:
- Application Report
- Job Ads Report
- Requisition Report
- Source Performance Report
- Talent Folder Summary Report
Key benefits:
The paginated reports offer the following benefits:
Export-friendly: The reports can easily be export to PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, print etc.
Parameter-driven: The filters can be applied for customised, dynamic report generation.
How this works:
For admin user: The access to the reports can be provided by the admin user by following the steps below:
-
Go to Administration --> Admin Console --> Prebuilt Report users.
- Select the user to which access needs to be granted.
-
Click on User Access drop-down, select Grant User Access from the drop-down.
- A pop-up is displayed. Click on the Grant Access button.
-
The success message is displayed.
- Similarly, the user access can be revoked using the same User Access drop-down --> Revoke Access.
For recruiters and other report users:
-
If the user has access to the Prebuild reports on their Springboard instance, it would appear under Reports --> Prebuilt Reports.
- The prebuilt reports list will be displayed.
- Each report is displayed with a short summary.
- The reports can be searched via the Search field.
- My recent reports: The reports last accessed by the user will be displayed under this section along with the timestamp when it was last accessed.
- Clicking on any report will display the metrics.
- The user can apply filters using Parameter section.
- The report can be exported to pdf, csv, excel etc.
Ability to make resume mandatory on campaigns
Campaign Manager empowers talent teams to quickly create targeted microsites, build personalised hiring campaigns, and drive candidate engagement without needing technical support. We’re excited to announce a highly requested enhancement that makes this experience even more powerful i.e., the ability to make the resume submission option mandatory for an EOI (Expression of Interest portlet), making candidate screening even more streamlined and effective.
How this works:
- From the left-hand navigation menu, click on Campaigns --> Campaign Search --> Create New Campaign or Edit Campaign.
- Add an EOI portlet.
-
Turn the toggle switch on against the Resume option.
4. Publish the campaign.
5. When a candidate tries to submit the EOI form without attaching the resume, the validation error will be displayed.
Ability to send automation journeys based on candidate subscription
Drip campaigns play a critical role in modern recruitment because they allow talent teams to engage candidates systematically, personally, and at scale. Springboard provides the ability to send drip campaigns or emails to the candidates from the requisition or from the talent folders. This is achieved via Campaign Monitor integration available within Springboard.
The automation journeys can send campaigns or emails to the candidates, keep them engaged, and nurture.
If you are interested in sending drip campaigns from your Springboard instance:
- SaaS clients: Please get in touch with our Application Support team.
- RPO clients: Please contact your Peoplescout Account Manager.
How this works:
With this release, Springboard will support the automation journeys based on the subscriber joins the list trigger which means that if an automation journey has been created for a list on a requisition or talent folder and a new candidate is added to the list via any action via Springboard or careers portal, the candidate will be added to the list (existing) and the associated journey will be triggered for them.

Ability to manage Qjumpers’ credit from Springboard
With Release 7.38, we introduced external search provider QJumpers. However, the credit management for QJumpers users, until this release was handled at the Qjumpers admin level. With this release, we are launching the management of the QJumpers credit from Springboard.
When a user is granted access to QJumpers, they are allocated 300 monthly credits by default. If usage increases due to higher hiring activity or decreases during slower periods, the credit allocation can be adjusted as needed.
The feature will be available only to admin users.
Key highlights:
- Monthly Balance: Total monthly balance allocated to the user.
-
Credit Balance: Under Administration --> Admin Console --> External Search Admin --> Qjumpers, a new column, Credit Balance, has been added to display the available credit for any user.
-
Refresh Credit: This button refreshes the credit balance column to fetch the latest credit information for each user.
By default, a scheduler service runs every 4 hours to pull the most recent credit information from Qjumpers to Springboard.
-
Actions: This button is used to increase or decrease the monthly credit allocation for a user. Clicking of Actions icon against a user, the “Update User Credit” pop-up as shown in the screenshot below:
-
Update User Credit: The Qjumpers credit can be increased or decreased via this pop-up. It also displays the
- User’s first name and last name for whom the update is being made.
- Monthly credits: Total credits allocated to the user for the month.
- Current credit balance – The remaining credits available to the user for the current month.
-
Update monthly credits to: This field is used to increase or decrease the credit balance for the user.
-
Increase credit: If a Qjumpers needs more credits than the default allocationThe credit allocation to the user can be increased anytime during a month. The credits can be allocated in three slabs, i.e., 300, 500 or 1000.
If the new allocation is an increase of the original allocation, that will occur immediately.
-
Decrease credit: If the user’s credit allocation needs to be reduced for any reason, it can be done by selecting a lower value from the Update monthly credits to dropdown.
The new reduced allocation will be in effect on the 1st of the next calendar month.
