This new home page comes bundled with the new look and feel described in the section above.
For the past 6 months, the Springboard team has been working on an entirely new look and feel for the core Springboard platform.
With this release, we’re excited to launch the new look and feel
Customers will not be switched to the new version without consent.
The new Springboard home page includes the following key features.
At a glance sidebar
The At a Glance sidebar provides a snapshot of useful point in time data related to the logged in user and quick navigation links such as:
- New Applicants who have applied to the logged in user’s jobs
- Number of live job ads posted by the logged in user
- Talent Pipeline data
- Upcoming booked interviews (next 7 days)
- Job Ads expiring soon
- Open Jobs for the logged in user
- New RTH requests
- Open Tasks
- Quick links to:
- Create & Search jobs

- View the Forms Library
The Sidebar can be collapsed away to provide more real estate for the main panel when needed.
Trend lines (in the past 12 months)
The trend lines provide a snapshot of your client’s recruitment activities over the past 12 months, including:
- Approved Jobs
- Published Ads
- Total applications
- Total Placements
- Interviews completed
- Offers Made
The “In the past 12 months” dashlet can be added or removed from the home page configuration menu and is recommended to be displayed at 100% width.
New Home Page visualisations
New visualisations are now available on the home page which provide an overview of your entire client solution. These visualisations include:
- Open Jobs by Recruiter
- Current Applications by Recruiter
- Placements over time
- Applications by Source
- Recruitment Funnel (my jobs only)
- Recruitment Funnel (client wide)
- Jobs Aging
Home Page visualisations can be added or removed from the home page configuration menu. These are all optimised for 50% width but can be customised to 33% or 100%.
We didn’t forget about the existing data tables
All of the existing data tables used for navigation such as My Jobs, My Advertisements, My Tasks and My Talent Folders are still available.
Customising your home page
You can tailor the look and feel of your home page so that it’s right for you.
Select which dashlets you want from the 3-dots menu:
For each dashlet, choose the ideal width to setup your home page just the way you want it. Go to the 3-dots menu on the dashlet and click Edit Settings.
From the Edit Settings window, you can do the following:
- Personalise the name of each dashlet
- Specifically define the height
- Set the width:
- 100% - 1 dashlet per row
- 50% - 2 dashlets per row
- 33% - 3 dashlets per row
New look and feel for candidate experience tab
As part of the new look and feel for Springboard, the Experience tab, which lists all companies, skills and qualifications for a candidate, has been upgraded.
This new look is available in both the current version of Springboard and the new look and feel described in the sections above.
Seek Optimised Apply (SOA)
As a Seek Premium Partner, Springboard now integrates with Seek’s new Optimised Apply service.
SEEK's Optimised Apply solution allows for candidates to use SEEK's Apply Form to complete their job application from any device - mobile, web or mobile apps. It also enables candidates to use their SEEK Profile to pre-fill application information and attach their stored CV - resulting in quick, easy and seamless apply experience for candidates.
Candidate experience data sent from Seek
In addition to answers to application form questions, Seek also sends to Springboard the candidate’s resume and Seek profile data.
This profile data is available within the Experience tab. A new filter is provided to allow users to differentiate between profile data sent from Seek and data gather from other sources, such as Springboard’s resume parser.
Who can access Seek Optimised Apply
Seek Optimised Apply will be available to most (but not all) customers as part of this release. Contact your Account Manager to identify if SOA is supported for your instance, and for more details on how to have it enabled. Enabling SOA requires a small configuration effort by PeopleScout Application Support in order to align the application questions answered on the Seek platform with your current Career Site.
Suppliers Module now supports Version 7
Many clients share Springboard with their recruitment suppliers / agents.
Previously agencies could only be provided with an older version of Springboard (Version 5).
With this release, agencies can now be upgraded to Version 7 of the platform.
Who can access Suppliers V7
We will progressively migrate all suppliers using the platform over to V7. Contact your account manager if you would like to fast-track this, otherwise clients will be switched over in the next 1-2 months.
New action to merge candidate user accounts
With the last release, we enhanced the Administration -> Candidate Accounts module to provide additional actions for handling candidate requests. New actions included:
- Find candidates with job alerts
- Disable job alerts
- Unlink Single SignOn Account
- Delete candidate account
With this release, we’ve added another action:
- Merge Candidate User Accounts
Merge Candidate User Accounts
For privileged administrators, this action provides the ability to complete merge multiple user accounts together, which will also merge and any associated candidate & application details from Springboard.
This action is similar to ‘Merge Candidate’ from the candidate grid and is a non-reversible action that should only be performed when administrators are sure they need to merge user account details.
This action has been provided in addition to ‘Merge Candidate’ from the candidate grid as some clients can’t access all accounts the belong to a person from the one login – especially our Government clients that operate multiple agency portals.
To merge multiple accounts, go to Admin Console -> Candidate Accounts. Search for an account and click the new “Add to cart” link:
If the other accounts that need to be merged do not appear within the same search, you can perform a new search and add more accounts to the ‘cart’. As you add more to the group, the number in the cart increases.
To perform the merge, click on the ‘cart’ icon and then select ‘Merge Candidates’ from the Actions list.
Select a Document Pack to attach to an outbound email
When sending an email from Springboard, you can now select one of the existing Document Packs (Onboarding Activity Packs) to attach documents to the email.
Include a recipient as BCC
When sending an email from Springboard, you can now include a recipient as Blind Carbon Copy (BCC).
Support multiple and hierarchical data for classifying job advertisements
This release provides native support for capturing multiple selections for certain data on the job advertisement. For example:
- multiple locations for your job ad posting.
- multiple expertise or skills for your job ad posting
In addition, the multiple selections can be captured as a hierarchy, for example Country -> State -> City -> Region.
These selections can be added by:
- recruiters to define the multiple locations that a job ad is relevant too (for example) and
- candidates when searching for job ads or setting up job alerts.
Who can access this feature
Adding the new controls for defining and searching for multiple hierarchical job ad data (such as location) will require configuration work by the PeopleScout Implementation team.
Contact your Account Manager to discuss whether this feature is appropriate for your solution.
Recruiter Submitted applications supported for the new application framework
Many clients are now making use of Springboards new application form framework, which allows clients to build their own application forms for candidates to submit without needing configuration assistance from the Springboard Application Support team.
Until this release, recruiter submitted applications (Manual Applications) were not supported for clients using the new application framework.
To add a candidate to a job manually, select Add Candidate from the header menu:
Fill out the basic candidate details as per usual.
On submitting the candidate to a job, the appropriate application form for that job will automatically be created for that candidate.
If there is no application form defined for that job (possible if the job ad has expired), then a default application form for the job can be selected as part of creating the candidate (this form will then be remembered for all future candidates being added to the job).
Minor bug fixes & Enhancements
